Time: 8 A.M. South Coast Botanical Garden
Description: Known as the "Jewel of the
Peninsula," SCBG is located on the beautiful
Palos Verdes Peninsula, 10 miles south of the
Los Angeles Airport. There is a minimal charge
for nonmembers of the SCBG Foundation; you
may join at the entrance. The garden is located
at 26300 Crenshaw Blvd, Palos Verdes.

Meet at the Madrona Marsh Nature Center,
located at 3201 Plaza Del Amo, Torrance.

Time: 8 A.M. Madrona Marsh
Description: Madrona Marsh is the last vernal
marsh in the LA Basin. It is home to a number
of rare habitats that attract many hard-to-find
species of plants, birds and other animals.
These free walks are held on the second
Wednesday of each month from the gate on
Plaza del Amo, just west of Madrona Ave.
Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park - commonly referred to as Harbor Park - is the third largest
park in Los Angeles, sheltering a greater diversity of life than can be found anywhere else in
the South Bay. I lead Harbor Park bird walks the second Sunday of each month, and also act
as organizer and leader for the second Saturday restorations in the park. Please click on the
